V-One RR , Serpent 705, or Mugen MTX-3?
I have come back to this question. Which one should I get of these three: V-One RR, Serpent 705, Mugen MTX-3. I want a car that is durable and is easy to build since this is only going to be my second car. I kind of want the directions to be detailed and stuff. I don't care which V-One RR I get, either the new Evo V-One RR or the one they have now.

..... come on! you telling me your LHS can't get kyosho or mugen stuff for you?! if they can't, shop somewere else.
the serpent is dead. the old kyosho design is great but it's like a old forman VRS Ali, it's been knocked around to much and the young mugen has just to much speed! maybe the V1RR EVO (forman version 2) can do something about that. i doubt it though.

if i were u, i'd get teh mtx-3 even though i myself have a V1RR. The V1RR is still a fantastic car, but the mtx-3 is so sexy!!! lol
Either teh V1RR or the MTX-3 would be a great choice. They're both great racers, durable, fast and have great handling. Good luck on your decision

i have been running Vone R for the past 2 years, and just recently made a switch to Mugen Mtx-3. my first impression for the mtx-3 is how light the car is comparing to Vone R, Mtx-3 is very easy to drive and setup, a little fragile comparing to VoneR, Vone R build like a tank, i have been into some horrible crashes over the 2 years but surprisingly my vone R always came out okay. Vone R in my opinion is a more stable car than mtx-3 it might the extra weight this car has but this is a good thing for some who just starting out and still learning how to drive. Both are great cars you won't do wrong with either. As for serpent, i never owned one before as i have heard too many negative things about it.

So does the MTX-3 have easy to follow directions?

i must say mugen does not have the best instruction , it might create some confusion for beginners. the main problem is the english translation, some people including my self have some trouble understanding. As for kyosho, their instruction is clear and organized very easy to understand.

Manual Direction
Direction of the car whilst driving is much more important than the direction of the manual. In my opinion................
