Mega ZX21
 

Hi,

I have an engine Mega ZX21, and I have a problem with it, the pin of the cranckshaft is going out, can you tell me what should buy to replace cranckshaft ? if can be one with the pin fixed.

It was a known problem in the first batch and that was the only time they used this technique. You can try to contact your LHS or the Serpent distributor for a free replacement (I know they did in the past.)

I've got a broken zx21 - the crank is fine tho - the problem is that different people made the zx21.

I tried it, but my Local distributor has tell they don't have more crankshafts, and I want to buy it, anybody knows the reference of the crankshaft of replace??

If you know someone with a welding machine you can weld a small tip on the shaft side of the crankshaft and finish it with a dremel to tighten the pin. I know a person who did and it worked for him.

Directly after the bad productionseries they made a one-piece crankshaft so this one should be a fixed one.
