Default Count me in

I will definitely be there - sounds as much fun as the LA Street Race RC races Glen set up. Best time running we ever had. This should be just as good!

Went to the Fairplex this past weekend to meet with the RCX crew and look at the tracksite, sizewise, looks just a little larger than CP and is right across from the main exhibit hall.

Promotions explained that Sat and Sun, the gates will open at 7:00am and you will be able to drive in and unload your equipment. At 9:00am the show starts and if there is anyone arriving late, you must hand truck your stuff to the track.

Its only about an 1/8 mile walk so not that far. The hotel there at the fairplex is also working on blocking out rooms in case any of the racers want to stay there for the weekend.

Stay Tuned!!

The cost for ROAR for 1 year is <I believe> $35.00 for one year.
Their address is

Fred Hohwart, ROAR Administrator
30262 Crown Valley Pkwy #B 454
Laguna Niguel, Ca. 92677

phone# 949 494 0515
Dont know about the sign up sheets though, as I think every one is waiting and "ROAR"ing to go

Default Great News

Glenn, I am so happy for you and all the racers on the Left Coast. I am sure the event with all the great drivers and media exposure will be off the hook!

We will have an announcement coming soon from the Right Coast about another exxteeme event in the works as well!

Is there gonna be a " Pro catagory " with a pro purse in 1/8th scale on-road ? I know that the off-road 1/8th scale race held a pro purse last year for the winner. Ryan Calavari took home the win ( $500 dollars / trophy / title ) and Scott Hughes took it for 2006. I know probably it's been thought about it already, but I just wanted to suggest it since off-road has done this in the past 2-3 years. I just think it would be good for the average Joe hobbiest to witness professional 1/8th scale on-road racer at thier best since money is involved. Im sure that the big dawgs have too many trophies already to add to thier collection.

Again, just a suggestion.
