with the combination of bmi chassis; the fix and ntc3nut rear toe fix. you got one the best handling and strongest rc to date.

i have been in a couple of good crashes, getting smack on the pipe and nothing no leaking gas tank, eating the burn and a tumble roll to the wall, nothing it just keep on going. set it up after a good beating and 1/2 to 1mmm tweak on integy set up gauge.

i think if you can finish a race with some driving skills you should end up in the top 3.

My chassis arrived yesterday, I will put it together on the weekend. I am determined to get a pullstart RB C12 in there.
I will post the outcome as soon as it is done. The chassis is a work of art. Thanks Jim...

After market engine mounts...take a 3mmm screw through chassis

Ok , i got everything put together and i ran it today. It runs VERY well. Once in a while it would get squirely when i went fast, but thats because i need to change the toe in and toe out on the wheels. VERY nice. I'll post some pics later on tonight or tomorrow.

X-Ray: Did you tweak or balance the car with the smaller bat? Without the larger pac the car is light on the right rear. May work for you, maybe not? With my Trinity 1150 pac I set ride height than tweaked it with my MIP Tweak station, I was kinda shocked. One full turn down on left rear shock preload, 1 round off the right rear preload to get the ride height back to 5mm and tweak was perfect, front and rear. I think the BMI and all other chassis's are really designed for the bigger bat pac, for weight. Jay pretty much done his homework on the design of this chassis, he has covered all bases.
Good luck with the chassis, it's the best upgrade I think you can buy for the car!

Cool ENGINEERING GENUIS

Jim I saw one your chassis up close and personal tonight. It's the first one to hit our shores ( Australia ), and all I've got to say is that is the best, shit hot, awesome, chassis that I've seen for the NTC3. I once upon a time owed a NTC3 and now I wish I had keep on to it after seeing the chassis. I think buy the look of it you have solved alot of problems. My hat goes of to you and the designers. Go kick some ass boys.

Hi BB
Yes I put some thought into using that battery pack...
I use a cen head on my os engine(2/3 weight of original).
Also where i race no pullstart in my class equals 80 gram penalty.
When i check for tweak on sunday i will report my findings

You Guys....ROCK

BB,the small receiver pack seems to be a good match for my lightened motor....
Car is slightly heavier than using hardcore chassis but the corner speed is fantastic.
On the gas halfway round a corner instead of rolling through it.
It is much more predictable than the hardcore, just tracks
beaut......
My main track is concrete so rubber tyres are the order of the day.
I hear more are coming to Bayside Raceway....Nearly have enough for our own class....

Default I must be nuts.....

ok James,
I stared at ebay this morning counting minutes 'til your auction ended...debating!

Debating to what, you say?

Do I dump $170 or not on this thing?

Well, I gave in.

Hope to receive my Chassis by weeks end!

Guess I'll have to get the new Altima body and put 1 badass paint job on it to keep the outside looking as good as it will inside!

Chris

Cool X-Ray glad to hear it! I may check into it. I have a few Serpent pacs laying around that I no longer use.

I can't find the chassis anywhere on Ebay. Anybody have a link to one that is for sale? Also if I purchased one tomorrow would I get it before Friday? I have a race this weekend and want to try it out. Thanks,
