To answer some of the previous posts...
Rich does not post entry lists.
We had 1 heat of IGT, I TQ'ed Scott Fisher won.
3 heats of sedan, J Lin TQ'ed and won.
4 heats of 1/8th, Scotty B TQ'ed, Josh Cyrul won.
All things considered, the turnout was excellent, and as far as I can tell, most or all the racers had a great time and there was zero drama.
The 1/8th main had 5 Motonica, 3 Kyosho, 2 Mugen, 1 Pursuit, and 1 Shepard.
It was great to see all the different cars in the main and to have Steve Jackson come back from retirement and be right back on pace. Thanks to Byron Fuels for the continued support, and to all the racers who made the trip (long or short) and made the race a success. Full results are normally posted on the 4aces website within a few days along with photos.
Make plans to attend again next year, this race will happen again for sure, sometime in April, more than likely 2nd or 3rd weekend.
Here are some photos my wife took, enjoy!
Mike Saputo and Art Carbonell sleeping on the job, Josh Cyrul working on his car. Art did not get his Motonica built in time so he was there to help out Mike.
