BRC358,
Thank you for the info and I'll try that. I was looking at these Serpent springs
http://ashfordhobby.com/detail.aspx?ID=5964
and was wondering if I choose their white for the front and the Gray for the back would it be the same as you recommended also I would be using the shock oil you suggested.

the serpent and mugen springs are not consistent. for serpent white and grey are at the extreme (white is softest and grey is the hardest). neither of these are commonly used.
however the mugen white seem almost a standard. i don't know the mugen range but i would expect it to be some kind of medium rate given its popularity

Try to find out the setup of other cars from drivers with a lot of experience at a specific track. You can find a lot of setup sheets around the WWW. You might even glance at the setup of a different brand than your own car. Note that other driver's setups might work fine for them, but might not suit your own driving style / skills, but it never hurts to use it as a guideline / reference ...

I received the New Serpent front + rear springs with their Pink rating and they seem pretty good. Haven't tried onroad until it's warmer. I also put some new 50w oil in the front and 40w in the rear as brc358 suggested.
I also got a good deal on the Bay for some new Serpent Blue and Yellow complete spring sets for $8.00 just in case these don't work out.
