Any pics of this 'new' car yet?

I have heard it is the NTC3 knock off, but have they improved upon some things (diff cases, pivot balls, shock towers, fuel tank, bumper)??

Any info would be greatly appreciated...

the only pics i've seen are the shadow ones in the mags.......i personally dont think a 1+ hp engine and a shaft drive car should be mentioned in the same sentance

che: good luck getting any answers. I started a thread like this a while back to see if there was any info. The only answer I got was "its just a NTC3 copy!!"

I swear there must people people who sit at home and wait for any new kit to come out so they can say "it looks like this other car"

i think what it comes down to is that any shaft drive car is going to be sayed to have copied a ntc3, and any belt car is going to be labeled as looking like an impulse or v1r.....its kinda sad.........i couple days ago, someone said that the mtx-3 was just a copy of a reflex team kit.......and the mtx-3 came out first and looks nothing like it!!

Yeah, I think "sad" is the perfect word for it!

When it comes down to it, every thing(well not everything), looks like one another in some way. Look how many "t-maxx sytle" MT's are out there. I mean 8 shocks, 2-speed, foward/reverse etc. As for triple belt cars, the list is much bigger. Now, ofna has some awsome r/cs out there on the market, so im sure it will be one nice r/c. A company would have to take a big chance releaseing a totaly new concept for a r/c tc, mt, st, 1/8 etc. I mean they could test it and drive prototypes, but how would the public react.

I saw it running at CP the shaft configuration.
and over all lay out is the same they changed
the suspension geometry a little and it comes
with a gear diff instead of the ball diff.
one other major difference is that the rear uprights
full pillow ball getting rid of the turn buckle for the
rear. at first glance it will look like the tc3 but
you will see a lot of difference after taking a closer
look.

I got a friend that will be running the LD3 for OFNA,a former NTC3 owner, and this is how he describes it: "a NTC3 with OB4 suspension." Some people don't just sit around waiting to call a new car a "copy". Let's just call it an OFNA-refined OB-NTC3.

They made one boo-boo though, during a race they noticed that they weren't getting the gas mileage. It seems the tank was only 68cc. Ooops....I think they got that covered now.

Smile ld3

also the gas tank looks like k-factory,front one-way has a metal
gear instead of plastic ,and the roll center is better ,not so much
lean on high speed sweepers, looks good looks stronger then !
two speed gear options pinion 21,22,23, and 24 for the drag
racer...
