Post mtx-3 rear outdrives

Im sure that this queston has been asked, but i cant seem to find it....so....here it goes again

How do i fix the problem with the rear outdrives?
(the "slop" problem)

is there another way to solve this? instead of installing shims

and if shims are the only choice, what are the sizes which u MTX-3 owners use?

thanks

The reason it seems to have a lot of slop is because the hex adapter doesn't snug up against the bearing's inner race. Only shims would fix that but I dont know the exact size/thickness.

Kawahara or anyone that isn't be K-Factory. A friend bought one set and were out of round causing a funky handling.

I have both the Mugen and 3Racing hex adapters and both doesn't snug up against the bearing.

The Kawahara hex adapters that comes with the 1mm spacer should help.
