Hey Guys this will be my first time going to race in Las Vegas and cant wait for Oct. My question on the track is that only open major race days or are they any club races and or weekend open track ? I live about 3 hour from Las Vegas but I sure would like to get some track time in before the race in late Oct. Any info will be helpful and thanks in advance and hope to have some fun soon.

Anything can happen, but I can tell you most likely what is happening. The track is in a public park, so you are free to practice pretty much any day you want. However, the track will be dirty and not prepped so it will be almost useless to do that. There is no local race program so I would tell you that the best thing to do is plan on getting to the track Thursday morning and you will have all day Thursday to practice. Normally there is an hour or two of practice on Friday morning as well, before we start qualifying. The track is pretty wide, so it isn't too difficult.

Rick and Scott thank you both the info but one thing I have to say is that is one nice track am surpise that they are not enough racers out there in LV to enjoy that track. After our track ( Revelation raceway) close down we have been broken hearted and if we had a set track like yours it would have racing every weekend. Have you guys ever test club racing or racing once a month ? if you did I know I wouldnt mind at all driving to LV to race and am sure a group of us from So.Cali would take that offer shoot in that case I would even bring the VHT and help clean the track well if you guys ever do open up racing once a month or even every other weekend am sure a group of us can get together and pitch in for the track clean up and VHT.

I think the winner would be Matt Reddick with that alien body at the nationals. It was so bad instead of rolling the other cars forward, they rolled his back

The winner is also going to get a brand new Protoform body so he can paint a better one.
