Yes, that is true. I was speaking to the designer at the worlds and he told me that he has left Kyosho and they will not continue development on this car, or any 1/8th car for that matter. Sad news indeed.

Now this begs the question on what car Collari will drive in the near future.

Based on the comments, I guess the current M3 EVO is better for racing than the prototype raced at the world champs. Is anyone going to run this car in the US this season?

bad news, how is this possible when 1-8 on road is more popular than 1-10, kyosho has just released the r4, makes no sense, anyway collari no matter what brand races still still a world champ!

Any updates as to the future of the M3, or any 1/8 onroad chassis from Kyosho?

I contacted Kyosho directly and was told they are not getting out of 1/8 on-road. The hobby shop I buy all my stuff from also asked about this and was told the same thing.

I have more parts so you can make that 3/4 a 1. Interested?

Default 2nd speed difficult to engage?

Ever since racing the M3 evo, I've always struggled with getting the car to shift to 2nd gear.

Besides the normal adjustments (loosening the main screws, ensuring motor is tuned properly, ensuring the set screws are tight with the shaft) what other tricks should I know about??

I usually succeed at getting it to work, but only after several tank fulls....

Any experience would be appreciated.

Thx

Have not had any issues with the 2 speed & it has been pretty simple like any other brand adjusted the shift point on the track

If anything, you need to make sure the screws are tensioned the same amount for both shoes; at least with my Serpents, this seems to make the biggest difference in shift quality.
