Default Ipanema tires?

I ported my stock Force .28 and was shocked at how well the engine runs but now I cant keep the stock tires on the rims. Even with a full tear down, dremeling and proper reglue. This engine feels like it can take 2 or 3 more teeth in the clutch bell. I would like a find a source for the Ipanema tires in the softer compound since we are getting cooler hear in the pennsylvania area. I can find places advertising them but none in stock. I have a set of ofna foams with some juice on them soaking in a zip lock but they are super messy in the tire dust area.

Default Ipanema tires

Any one knows for sure where to find a good selection of Ipanema or PMT tires in the US ??

I have looked into the Ipanema website for the "where to buy" list, but it is rather useless as those stores either do not sell them any more or they do not have the hard shores that I would have to use because of the high track temperatures here.

Any advise there?

Thanks!

Mika could be using the extended wheel hubs. Ofna make sizes from 1.0mm to 15mm, and a bunch in between.

Yes, that's correct. These are the wheel hexes for the K ST-RR. Just haven't been able to try it out.

Mikar,
It would be great if you can tell us if the wider set up really makes a differance in lap times on the track.
