versus the sedan it's got a good feel like TC rides I can only imagine how fast it would be if it had high end engine like our Piccos, in our first Dm-1's we had P9 engines to make the speed and they were fast now we are dropping alot of weight and has more balance to it, it corners real good and we even had to take out steering to 75%dr to make it neutral, we have a Force in it with a JP-2 pipe and worked well but another one of our drivers had the Force engine with the Picco 069 pipe made more acceleraction, I think alot of the spectators there like the way car drove and how much we had esp. my friend T-BONE.

That's a good report on the PF8 GT body, thanks.

Big engines are cool, but at this stage of the game, I think these platforms should think more along the lines of a level playing feild that will grow the class.

We must resist the urge to drop heavy engines into these cars if we expect the class to grow. My thoughts are if a racer needs to go much faster with a GT car, they should move up to 1/8 scale on-road cars.

I hear Dave is planning to come down to SS in Tampa, any truth to that?

Steve Nguyen from OFNA was driving with a Force 28 engine with standard plug. It was fun to watch his car. Has top end and Bottom end as well.

Hi, there are good setups around, but here's mine briefly:

Front
Diff 60K
camber 0
Toe-out 0

Rear
Diff 3K
camber -2
Toe-in 3

Shock oil Losi 70wt all around
Ground clearance ~10mm front & rear with limiting droop (have some but not much)

Along the setup I'm using the new alum shocks, ACRE brake pads with the SP brake rotor and hi-speed servo's, also sway bars and chassis stiffeners front and rear.

Hope this helps. Best,
Mika

Wow, you know while I was sitting here and thinking of all the things I had to get done just to go racing... I was wondering if everyone though about the stuff the track owners had to get done.. they have sent all summer planning on the next season and getting thing ready ...please show some support and a few kind words it's all they get...guy's the year going to start and there some new faces let's help everyone out and put on a good show.. Letís try to get out and turn marshal in the first min. not the last.. Letís try to get there early and get registered before the first heat posted twice..Last, we have to keep is area clean and picked up...

The season 2008 is over in Finland!

For the last race 3/3 we got almost 20 participants, which is pretty good considering, temperature was below 10C degrees, uh cold...

A main final
1. Markku Honkanen, HN DM-1
2. Jiri Jokinen TQ, HN DM-1
3. Mika Rinne, Kyosho GT
4. Mikko Laitinen, Kyosho GT
5. Matti Korvenmaa, HN DM-1
6. Juho Hattunen (open), Kyosho GT w/ option engine
7. Janne Kortesoja , Kyosho GT
8. Janne Hallenberg, Kyosho GT
9. Vesa Rousku, HN GTP
10. Sami Sinisalo, HN DM-1

We allowed the open racers w/ option engine to race with the stock class this time.

With three podium places in all three races I'm the happy winner for 2008 with the Ferrari Cheers
