I like the body in the fourth picture. Now I would really be able to roll with that one!

The GT class has garnered a lot of interest, and is showing positive growth. One of the primary reasons for instituting the class, and the main reason for it's relative success, is it's lower cost. The Inferno GT and the OFNA GTP, are both available for around $400 or less, in RTR form.
As Midwest Series director, my focus is to keep the class a multi-manufacturer class AND keep the costs in control.
Untill the class gets large enough to split up, we will allow ONLY those cars that are available for $450 street price, or less. Price caps for kits and ARR's will follow. If the class continues to grow, I am sure there will be room for a 'deep pockets' version of the class, that will allow greater latitude for those willing to shell out more money.
I am pretty sure that at least two more manufacturers are likely to offer cars that fit within the current guidlines.

All of ya'll racing the IGT car's this weekend, listen up.

Try reducing the amount of negative front camber to any where from 0 to -1/2 degrees.

It seems to allow more of the Ipanema's rubber to contact the road in while turning for more steering & control. This is allowing my car to react better and easier to drive when passing & lapping those slower cars.

Try it, you'll be glad you did

Question:

Today I discovered the the clutch spring was broken. Is this a common problem? I just bent the end of the old spring and hooked it together which worked today, but will that fix last?

Another question

Will the stock IGT run on 30% fuel. I am having tuning difficulties and wondering if 20% fuel would be a step in the right direction.

Also, when the motor gets hot it will not restart. Any suggestions?

FF,

What plug are you using?

If you are running 30% fuel you need to run more on the rich side (HSN) then rest your idle. My 2 cents on RTR engines is to run them on 16-20% nitro and it should run cool and last for a while.
