Now I have a question, but I'm afraid to ask because I know it will start arguments..... But since it has been about a page since the last spat........LOL
So I'm needing a new power plant and I can't decide which to get. It is between a B5 and the N21-5 (let the arguing begin....). Now at the end of last season I had to get a new engine and I bought a B5. But I guess I didn't break it in well enough before qualifying started at the GLC. l say this because by the main something went had gone badly wrong.......
Thanks for the opinions and lets try to keep the bickering to the minimum.

You can't go wrong either way. However, if you go the Werks route, you need to set the carb up like they tell you on their website in order to easily tune it as you are breaking it in. You will not have that issue with setting up the carb with the Novarossi. Now, it is just a matter of what you prefer to use.

Without even thinking or spending the time to go thru the spec....you just cannot go wrong on NOVAROSSI. I was off racing NITRO for like 4 years from racing TC and 1/8th On road simply because of the same reason, a good racing motor from Nova Rossi can be starting at $500 and up to $800 (still is) and you will need about 2-3 of them and will last you 1 season.

However, this GT class really bring me back to NITRO simply because I can find a 21 class NOVAROSSI for the range of $200-280....that is almost impossible if you are racing 1/10th or 1/8th On Road class before.

Since this conversation has started and some will say I'm one who brings this up. I made a list of engines listed on 5 sites (not all are in stock, and Gus, you need to visit Stormer for the Axial you were looking for) and used the least expensive site to sort them. I have a break at $150 / $200 / $250 and stop at $280. Yes, I like the last one but have some in all the price ranges.

So here is something we can talk about, and not all tracks, clubs or events need to be the same. Just would be nice if they were.

Pit .... was just some time trolling the internet, plus I found a few things that I bookmarked ........ Looks like it's received a fair amount of interest as 46 views in less than 12 hours.

Mark, you have waaaaay too much time on your hands , but thanks for doing the homework for all of us. My vote is to do away with spec or stock and just run open everywhere. All the other gas class are that way.
