This is the TV commercial that is airing on local TV for the GT World Championship race. We expect lots of spectators. I hope that we can increase the local GT group a lot and bring the attention that this class deserves.

Paolo has the TQ with Tabushi in second place so far. I don't know if there will be more qualifying. Tabushi said that Paolo's Cobra was looking great.

Hello guys, im at airport trying to get back to Colombia.

Copa del Pacifico 2012 has a winner ...

I DID IT AGAIN !! ... Pato Concha as Bi-Champ for GT Class on a 40 minutes A-Main ! and TQed !!!, im so happy !!

Paolo Morganti got 2nd place with the Cobra GT and Sven (sorry dont remember the surname), a German guy, took 3rd.

Alpha RC tires got 100% of A-Main, including at least 60% of drivers with R1, R2 and R3 bodies. Track record for GT Class on 2011 was mine with 16.265 seconds lap ... this year i lowered to 15.7 seconds ! but was taken by Alpha RC owner with a 15.6 !

Serpent have a GREAT CAR, i was talking with Paolo during the whole weekend and guys that thing is fast, reliable, brakes great, turns on a dime, etc ... i hope other class drivers get interest on GT Class, Serpent did a great job with this car. Paolo used full legal for this event equipment as lower-than-280 dollars engine, full offroad type clutch (on this case, 4 shoe), GT body (alpha R3), rubber tires (Alpha RC), 150cc tank, etc ...

I have couple videos of the car, will edit as soon as i get to my apartment ...

Thanks for all the emails and messages about the race !! ... and thanks to my sponsors for this event GO Engines, Xtreme RC Peru and ALPHA RC Tires !!!

regards,

The next challenge will be here in a few days;

I hope to get a really close look at the Serpent. I really looks good on the photos but it is not the same as watching it up close. The DM1 is a great car, the only bad thing is that it is on the heavy side. Factory DM1 weights almost 1 pound over the GT2. But the suspension works great and it is very strong. Plus Pato is also a great driver, I've raced against him. Anyways it is great to have more options in our class. And Serpent being is only associated with top level racing then it brings more attention to the class.
