Pics of my Kyosho IGT2. After lots of trial and error on testing different transmissions, brakes, servos, tires, and shock and diff oil combos, I am finally happy with the current combination of mods, FINALLY!!! Car has plenty of steering on and off power and the brakes don't fade!Eeek! And of course with all the carbon fiber and titanium screws and hinge pins it's much lighter than it was in original trim. Ready for the next big race!

Does that chassis have any kickup in front?

rcmikel,

No it does not have the kick up in front and I actually like is better because the front pastic bumper support acts as a skid plate and keeps the chassis from scraping. I also have the rear skid plate from DS Racing so the chassis stays pretty much untouched and I've run it as low as 7mm off the pavement.

Regards,

Andy,

There's a definite balance between being too heavy or too light. I knew there was room to drop more weight on the kit but I was afraid of not having enough weight to put down enough traction to the pavement. I really like the balance on the car where I have it now. Guess I better weigh it and write down that number. LOL!

Default HotBodies D8 GT

I converted an extra Hara D8 buggy awhile back and was happy it had performed well, but it lacked the top speed on the long straights to the Gt2 and DMs. So I recently installed a new OS .28XZ TRUGGY motor with a Werks 4 shoe clutch system. After break in and T&T, this car moves!!
