These are for the DM-1Spec, but some racers are fitting them on the Kyosho's.

My package from IGT Hobbies was on my front porch when I got
home from work today. The Alpha1 and Alpha3 bodies look great
Bill.
Now, I just have to find the time to lay my paint scheme on them.
After two weeks of pouring rain, that totaled 12 to 14 inches.
I've got alot of catching up to do, at work and at home.
It looks like the weather has finally turned cooler, so the tire
shore numbers will be going down and the engine power will be
going up. Expect a tire order from me soon.

It took longer than expected due to work but here it is. The most difficult thing was adapting the 2 speed so I didn't have to do anything with the shafts. I solved this and here are the results

Two speed consists of parts from a few manufacturers: OFNA, HPI, Traxxas and Thunder Tiger.

The wheelbase is exactly the same as the GT2 so it should be very stable. I haven't used it yet on the track but doing the break-in of the motor it felt really good since it is very very light compared to my DM1 or even my friend's GT2. I haven't done anything to lighten it a little more but I doubt that I will do anything for that. I will however look for weak points and they will be dealt with as they appear.

Looks like you're ready to rock. What shock and spring did you use on that?

Hi, some infor regarding the IGW008 option tranny for Inferno GT 1 (like the Subaru I have) - I took the gears and the changer from the GT2 option tranny IGW008 and the shaft from the stock tranny GTW20 and was able to easily put them together (using some dremel for the hex lock screw). Now I have IGW008 tranny that is a direct fit to IGT1 and can be used together with the stock center dogbones.
Cheers

Big time congrats to Mr. Mike “Ironman” Lyday on winning the Midwest Series GT top racer honors as the 2011 MWS season’s GT Class Champion, to Mr. Mike Cooper for his 2nd place MWS points winners, also to Mark Rodney for hanging in there to finish up in 3rd.

Special thanks to both Mike Lyday and Mike Cooper for trusting Ipanema GT racing products. You guys are proven winners!

We also wish to thank all of the Midwest Series GT Racers, Directors and Tracks for all of your dedication for providing our GT racing class racing a solid foundation in America; year after year.

Thanks again guys, you really know how to rock the GT racing world!

It works even with Kyosho 21 on gravel nicely and here's a photo for you with something more for tarmac/track use

Speedy,

That's a hot GT car.
Can't wait to hear the results on how it runs.
