Default New to Gt Racing

Hey guys, Just moved to Nor Cal Monterey Bay area and just picked up a Losi L8ight and converting it to a GT car. Will post pics when I able too. Not enough posts I guess. We run on Sundays at MPC college. Fire hose track style. Anyone here in from this area. Joe

I'll admit that the black colour was a poor choice to show off the true lines of the car.. but to define any single Lamborghini as boring when compared to a Ferrari is practically unheard of. Lamborghini defines Italian extremism.. the Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago and Aventador are all examples of Lamborghini at maximum extremism.

Ferrari on the other hand has always been classic and classy.. although with the F430 and F458, you can see that competition from Lamborghini (and Audi parents with money) is forcing them to up the anti.

Aventador is fantastic. Full carbon frame developed together with an airplane company.

All valid points. I guess I'm getting old!
I watched a Countach drive past my house the other day and it looked so dated and old. I was embarrassed for the guy driving it!!

That's a brilliant move now that GT racing is finally starting to pick up.

It sounds logical, but what would they base it on.

A. Not gonna be based on MP9, the new ST-RR Evo only uses a couple of non-drivetrain parts from the MP9 NO- too expensive

B. If they stick with long chassis, the only changes they would make is adding the Super Big Bore shocks. NO-why would they do this, you can already buy them for the GT (hmmm, I need to add these to the site! dangit)

C. Go back to short chassis and base it on the NEO, but again, the only difference really is the Super Big Bore Schocks. NO

D. Brand new platform to compete with the DM-1SPEC. Maybe, but Kyosho has said repeatedly that they do not support 1/8 GT as a race vehicle, only as a RTR, hopefully they have changed their minds.

...an MP9 would be awesome, but I hear what your getting at. I have heard they are releasing a new car from a reliable source though. We'll have to wait and see.

Bill, you forgot one additional possobility;

E. Mini-z IGT3. They could shrink the buggy chassis down to Miniz wheelbase.

Kyosho month after month releases one thing, Mini-z.. It's a wonder they don't discontinue the Vone R and evolva.
