Yeah, in this rather narrow road course track the DTM Audi was really at home. Not so sure about the handling but no complaints, it was ok.

It was actually great that we had so many different bodies. There was Ipanema Warrior, Kyosho Audi and Corvette, Protoform PF-8, Deltaplastik Maserati, DM1 long Porsche, Some Mclaren (a Kyosho copy I think).. They all fitted in great and was really cool watching it.

Slightly boring (if you ask me) is the fact that there were so many Protoforms since they all look more or less the same. I think it's result from the fact that DM1s ships with one and they are rather inexpensive. People don't pay too much attention to the paint job because bodies really are expendable and don't last long --> all look the same. Luckily not all.

This is a revival of their McLaren body from their second run of their Ultra GTP from about 4 years ago. I was running that body (which I still have) back in 2008 at the Bass Pro Series that use to be in Jackson, MS and the first run of GT in the SWCS here in Texas in 2009. I had 3 others I picked up over the years in which I sold one and painted up another to replace my original. It fits the short-chassis cars only.

It's another request for another body on the market, it was aksed from serveral of our customers as a big request that have called in the past for the old body and now it's on its way in the next couple of weeks so get one and put your order in at your local HS.

I understand what you are saying. Just letting folks know that this is not a "brand new" body that OFNA just came up with. It has been around for years.

This is the one I painted up for Bvoltz Bass Pro Series that was held in Jackson, MS back in 2008 series year.

Attached is one that I obtained in 2009 and had painted up to run in the 2009 Texas SWCS series (never ran it but still have it as a shelf queen).
