BTW, RB needs taller gearing, 13T was too slow and motor was overheating. BMT 3x faster easily Actually, now after dialed in, it is sick fast! Haven't seen such a fast GT car ever.
Bmt nice I want one soon but gota finish all of the other stuff thats been sitting here.

Sure.

My friend was driving Audi DTM and he had a very loose car, suspension and diffs, we put Team Orion and Ipanema slicks on it. Man, was that car planted.

It was fast, not super fast like the BTM (with Sirio RR Sti), but fast and very hard to catch because it took turns so well. If I pushed too eagerly I went out of the line and there was no chance catching it. In those conditions the Audi was superb. Aston GT2 was no match to it with the same motor and tires. What surprises me was the fact that the car was very loose and still working so well!

Cool

Today I finally got to run my GT2 after a very long time. Unfurtunately I was only able to run the qualis and couldnt stay for the mains
I got to try the Wide Ipanemas 45's and I really like how the work! For those of you running the wide tires what camber are you setting you cars? I'm running -2 according to the camber gauge I have to try on the set up station.

Can't wait for the Byron race! Looks like there will be a lot of GT's this year. I'm still not sure if I want to race 3 classes 10th scale GT spec and GT open. ummmm we'll see.

Gonzo,

Thanks for checking out our new wide rear slicks.

Try to adjust your camber + or – until you get even wear across the rubber surface. Too much inside or outside camber wear will keep the great rubber off the track.

Catch up with Mike; he should be able to help you more.
Thanks again!

Thanks for letting us know. I was close to try it out, but abandoned the idea because in my car there's not enough space for a 2-speed pinion, the fuel tank is so close to the motor. In this case I'm sticking with a center diff, a tall clutchbell gear and a strong .28 to pull it on lower rpm. Hope it will work out.

Mika,

I think there's a Sirio .28 STI engine that should pull as tall a gear as you can get, lol

Yeah, but in this case want one with roto start (I hate having two starter boxes etc). RB MT11 has it, HPI roto start coming, too. I think it will powerful enough. Not sure if Sirio has one, maybe. But it's RB car so RB motor will be fine.
