Can you tell me your thoughts on how Powermaster compares to say Byron's or someother brand? I ran Byron's a couple years ago and thought it was good, just no where as good as the Tornado, but I also paid a little extra for the Tornado.

Thanks!
Well $$$ was never a factor for the fuel I used. I ran Powermaster years ago then went with Rocket Science for years. Now back with Powermaster due to its new engineering and quality. It has worked fine for my engines and the longevity and performance speaks for itself. Call them for more details.

Something interesting, I just read on the Team Losi web site that VP also makes Nitrotane. I've tried running it in my 200mm sedan without much luck, but it runs great in my truggy. Hmmmmm, and my curiosity grows so I may have to give it a try...

The thing is that good Nitro is getting hard to come by at a reasonable $$$. I mean nitromathane to make the fuel. Some brands use nitromathane from China or other countries. VP is more expensive and is "not from China"(? not very sure about this) so one would expect to pay a bit more for it. I personally use Byron's with great results plus they support our racing so I have to give them props!. I haven't used Power Master in my cars but in my boats it was great.

Well Powermaster fuel from our Hobbytown store here for in Austin runs from 19.99 to 23.99 a gal. from 16% to 30% that not so much. Look into VP/Powermaster fuels and give it a try.

Good for practice runs in your front yard/street, not for racing really. Try Sweeps they last!

That's an awfully attractive price though - and though I do only really run on tracks, I won't be competitively racing.. What I care about is value-for-money.. If Sweeps really last and are that much better, I might consider them. Where do you get them for a decent price?

I run primarily on a pavement/street type track - but with pebbles and grit and stuff like a normal street. So, not a perfectly groomed racing surface...

Thanks..

I get my Sweeps from igthobbies. I have a set of exp50's that are going on 3 months, racing every weekend maybe missed one or two due to weather. After race days dust/clean with simple green, then rubbed sweeps tire sauce on them and put in freezer 1gal. bag till next race day. Simple
