OK, here is the info that Preston emailed me for you Alabama guys.

"We race each Sunday at Joe Piper, Inc., a large factory in Midfield that is adjacent to Birmingham. Please have these guys call me if they want to do some on-road racing. The track that we set up allows for some ridiculous lap speed!
We are starting an R/C Car club right now (www.pipercrew.com) and we will soon have a Road Dome track and lap counting system. I'll send updates as we mature.

My cell number is (205) 223-0186.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Preston"

Default On-Road GT Racing in Birmingham, AL

Hello, this is Preston.

We have an R/C club that races on-road cars of all scales - GT, 1/8 on-road, 1/10 on-road, 1/16 on- and off-road, nitro, electric, gas, etc. Our home base is at Joe Piper, Inc., which is on Midfield Industrial Blvd. in Midfield, AL. We race, weather permitting, on every Sunday from 1 pm until we are done, run out of fuel, or have torn up everything! We currently have about 12 active members, and the owner of Joe Piper, Inc. allows us free reign of the Midfield property. That means we have track racing, drag racing, bashing, off-road, or whatever you want to do.

We are in the process of acquiring a Road Dome race rail system and a lap counting system. We try to serve food on warmer race days.

We would love to have you to join us on tomorrow, if it's not snowing!

Just installed the SNR carbon kit. Makes working on it much easier.
Anybody know what 150cc tank that fits?

For the 150cc fuel tank to fit a DM1 Spec, I am using a part number OFN40109,
(FUEL TANK:VIOLATOR/COMP/CRT). It is not a direct fit at least for me. I made a couple of small brackets to offset the mounting post from the tank mounting hole. One the DM1 thread the Kyosho tank also is mentioned, but I am not sure of the mounting hole locations.
