I left a couple messages on the Ipanemasports.com
site this week and have not received a reply yet.
Is their "Contact" system working on the site?
Or should I call David Warr at Elite Performance
and get him to relay my questions?

Are you the guy asking about our new line of "Monster Truck" Slicks?

Other than that, haven't seen anything else.

Send me a pm if you like, OK

Jeff

That was the best 1/5 scale footage Ive seen thus far. I always wanted o get one. Those are definitely faster than any in my area. I don't think the know about Impenema's conversion. Great video. I will do some more research but I will join t gt2 class soon now.

Based on 1/8th scale buggy chassis.... add a two speed and a sedan body and play GT (well... a little more than that..)

The cars performed amazingly, you had to be there to feel the excitement. As they came around the corner, you can see and feel the car gripping the pavement to get traction to turn.Unbelievable, that a buggy with on-road tires can perform the way they did. These things are huge, and the way they ran down that straightaway with their speeds was just pure pleasure to see and hear. You just had to be there to feel what I'm talking about.
I think it's the way these guys had these cars set-up that's why they were running so unreal. These were buggy-based on-road cars running like 1/10 sedans, fast and agile...It was awesome!

I have uploaded over 200 pictures from the Ipanema WC at Homestead Raceway.

Mike Myers /Starting Grid Magazine took all of the photos in this album. These are the ones he will not use in the magazine articles, so you can imagine what the ones I cannot show look like.

Mike thank you very much for sharing these photos!
