Thanks for your words ... good thing in my city the strike wasnt THAT BAD, but its bad as you can see last 2 images. My parents city its absolutely destroyed, but they are re-starting already, military presence to help all, etc ... at least no problem of food / water / electricity shortage anymore since yesterday ...

cya !

Ok guys im 95% ready for homestead, i just built the roller i had sitting in the closet for about 2 years and im almost ready to race. For powerplant i decided on using my old faithful RB SW7 II motor that i used on my offroad xray808. Its a offroad 21 but it revs to hell so i ASUME it should hold up fine but ill see what it does on the track i got other motors i could use. Here are some pics of my monster.

I still need to install linkage's, my transponder,rx, and after that its RTR i do need to purchase swaybars and a front brace for this car but besides that im ready for homestead. Asuming the track opens tomorrow id like to get some time on the track!!!

Apologies in advance for cross-posting this in two threads.

I'm a club racer in Utah, looking forward to the 2010 season of GT racing here. For fun, I thought I'd start a blog and post about my car and my racing experiences. Here's the blog, hope a few of you may find it interesting. I'd recommend reading from the bottom (oldest post first).

Good luck everyone! Jeff, good luck, I'm sure the race will go without any real issues. Everyone enjoy the nice weather for me.

Tabushi, good luck with rebuilding. Thank goodness your family is ok. "Things" are replaceable, family is not.

There's a lotta good people helping make the ISGTWC race happen.

Live R/C & RC Scoring Pro are working to bring live event coverage to everyone, so be there in spirit with us on March 19, 20, 21.
www.liverc.com

They'll also be a DVD of the event!

Doug.... can we get a time check?

It's getting close racers...

Thanks for the kind words, I must say, I am the guy who does most of the talking for Homestead Raceway, we are so blessed to have a lot of hard working people that sacrifice their own racing at times to help make this racing facility top notch. So I will make sure that the track crew knows how much they are appreciated for their efforts by all of you. Our entire race crew is very happy to have all of you coming to race with us.

The straightaway is 280 feet/85 meters, the total racing line is 960 feet/292.6 meters. Track lane width varies from 15 feet/4.5 meters to 18 feet/5.48 meters.
