The Kyosho V-Slicks do need to be glued and I do belt them for my IGT but, until we find a set of slicks that provide better performance and give me lower lap times, I'll just have to keep setting new track records with them at SS Speedway in their "IGT Spec class".
The price shouldn't really be an issue since they all cost about the same. The most important thing is the traction available with the Kyosho V-Slick rubber tires is the best I've tried so far.
The bottom line is that the Kyosho Inferno GT cars cost a fraction of what conventional on-road RC cars cost. They're easy on the wallet because they don't break as easy if you hit someone's car or a board.
The IGT's here in Tampa are getting faster each weekend and the crowds love to watch them because they look like real cars racing around the track.
The playing field is level in the RC Pro Series Kyosho IGT Spec Class and its a lot of fun!
