I wonder what brand of chassis many of the guys will be running at this event. Paint jobs are fine but what is the breakdown of OFNA, Kyosho, etc, etc, brand cars that will make up the fields in Open and Spec. I will be running the Kyosho IGT1 and will have my IGT2 as backup.

I have IGT AND IGT2 that we will be racing but also considering converting my Losi 8 or Xray to onroad. I think there will be a few people holding their cards close to the vest because of how the rules are for the open class.

Gonna be a Great race !!!

Well, the cat will be out of the bag then for those folks. I am not ashamed to let folks know what chassis, fuel, and tires (Ipanema, of course) that I will be using, but I will keep my engine choice(s) in my shirt pocket until the race (when everyone will see what everyone will be running anyway). March is just around the corner (raceday in 3 months).

In my case, i dont mind to show 100% my equipment , i will be racing same car and stuff i race locally (i dont have the trophy in mind, but to share track time and burn nitro during 3 days with a bunch of crazy GT lovers) :

OPEN :

- OFNA DM-ONE (long 1/7 and heavy animal).
- Body = Mercedes (only one availale for the chassis from OFNA).
- Tires = Alpha RC
- Engine = GO .21 5 port or GO .21 7 port (stock engines non modified).
- Pipe = GO EFRA 2072 or GO FEMCA 0801
- Upgrades = Mainly standrd/vertical front and rear suspension, rest of the car its box stock.

SPEC/STOCK CLASS :

Same as in open, but non-modified suspension DM ONE and GO GX3R .21 3 port engine

Damn, only 3 months !?!?!?!?!?

cya !!!

That carbon fiber chassis is something i want to see in person ... how it performs so far ?, do you have a long chassis version for OFNA ? ... can you comment on HEAT DISSIPATION ?, in offroad 1/8 nitro some companies have made carbon fiber chassis with no much luck due to the carbon fiber not dissipating enouhg heat from engine ....

That will be a very light weight = fast DM SPEC man !!
