Thanks!

Our event is looking better every day, we may have some new sponsorships on the way and the "waiting list" for GT2 is growing.

I would think event payments should be in around the middle to end of November. It would be good if every thing were on "cruise control" headed into the hoilday season.

This would allow the new focus on attracting "mainstream media" to our event.

Looking for information regarding the RB Rally 9 engine.
The specs are way high if i compare it to other RB engines at the same price.
But how does it perform?
Anyone seen or used one?

Ipanema Sports 2010 GT World Championships Update:

Due to popular demand our GT2 Spec class has been increased to a total of 60 racer entries. There are 55 racers registered as of right now and only 5 spots are still left.

Our GT1 Open class entries are now full with 40 racers. If anyone wishes to be entered into our GT1 Open class waiting list, we suggest you do so at this time.

These new changes are due to the huge number of GT Spec class racers that are attending our event and our wish to provide our loyal Ipanema Sports customers with the ultimate GT-Only racing experence.

Thank you all very much..... is it March yet?

While the rules don't have specific weights, GT2 Spec class cars should have commonly available chassis. Chassis mods should be in the spirit of the Spec class and limited to mods for adaptation of standard available upgrades for increased durability, not to reduce weight for an unfair advantage.

In other words... no swiss-cheese or paper thin chassis in GT2

GT1 Open on the other hand.......... go for it!

BTW,

GT1 Open is sold out, still a few openings in GT2 Spec... very few, lol

Nice looking cars!

As for body cooling & holes.... no rules on any of that, very open in both GT1 & GT2 classes.

This is going to be the most fun, nothing but GT race cars.

I love my 1/7 DM "ONE" Chassis and the way it performs, but i hate that only 1-2 bodies are for them ... the proline 1/8 chassis looks great, but no way to get something like that for my long DM Animal

YA ESTAMOS EN MARZO !?!?!?!?

Nice car epowr_Racing...
The way we ran these cars in Mississippi and Tennessee, we allowed a 3 inch diameter hole in the front windshield for cooling, if the body was 4-door, the front door windows cut out, if the body was 2-door, the door windows cut out, and any to all of the rear window can be cut out. All of my bodies are cut to these rules and that is the way I roll.
