Website says $60.00 1st class $30.00 2nd class so $90.00 for both classes with 3 days of practice and qual and race. Sounds very fair with tables and chairs, & electricity and rest rooms.

The R/C race track at Homestead Motor Speedway was selected because it offers many advantages for racers attending from different parts of the world. Things like greater “ease of access” and “creature comforts” of the venue were also part of the consideration.

Everyone that attends the event will have nice covered pitting areas, tables, chairs, access to electricity, ADA access and real restrooms with running water too.

Homestead also offers a much greater potential for more widespread or “mainstream” types of media coverage and increased overall event exposure that can help stimulate more growth/interest in GT class racing.

The track is big, fast, fun and is an excellent location for our event.

OK, the 2010 GT World Championships class rules are up on the website.

The classes are “GT1 Open & GT2 Spec”. Any brand buggy/truggy based shaft-driven chassis is OK to race. The rules are straight forward and leave room for some racer innovations.

The GT2 Spec class approved engine list offers racers choice and maintains a more evenly matched field. No internal engine mods are permitted in the GT2 Spec class and they will be checked.

Any other engines used will fit into the GT1 Open class where almost anything is legal; so all you outlaws and speed junkies... this is the class for you.

Registrations are limited to only 50 in GT1 and 50 in GT2, for a total of only 100 entries for the entire event. This limited entry number will give all that attend the max amount of track fun.

The racer entry list will be updated weekly until it is sold-out, so if you’re planning on attending try not to wait too long.

We have an on-line registrations page and all event information is available for the GT World Championships event at: www.gtworldchampionships.com

Good luck to every racer, lets get ready to have some serious GT racing fun!
