Thanks guys.

The pull-starts don't have to be an issue, if the engine has it fine, if not it's OK for the "GT2-Spec" class too. So.... you don't have to use one.

Jlock, yes add the Sportwerks M26 to the list, it's cool, but it has to be "stock" inside OK.

The main thing with the spec class engines is that they have to be in the $200 or under range and they can't be mods.

The top 3 driver's engines will be "tech" with complete tear-downs to make sure they were stockers inside. So if you like to mod engines, better think of running the "GT1-Open" class.

Kyosho: GXR28SG
Kyosho: GXR28 (KYO74025)
Dynamite: .28 (DYN0890)
Dynamite: Mach 2 Monster .28 (DYN0992)
Ofna: .28 Force (OFN52217)
Axial: .28 RR (AX0330)
Axial: .28 Spec (AX001)
Axial: .28 Spec (AX002)
Ofna: Hyper .28 (OFN 53220)
LRP Z.28 Spec 3 (LRP32802)
Sportwerks M26
Picco P3

Now, in the GT Open class you can run whatever engine you want and way you want to.

J-

Is the Picco P3 going to be allowed in the Spec class for 200$ or less engines?

Jspeed,

Not to worry, my Sportwerks engine is bone-stock on the inside. I have had neither the cooling head or the pullstart assembly off of the engine. Thanks for the response about the engine. Got an Axial one off your list (had it for months, just too lazy to change it out) for my IGT2. But, I may dip and get a higher powered engine to run the IGT2 in the open class if I can make this race.

Added to the list, just make sure it's stock on the inside if you finish in the top 3.

I may run an Axial in GT2-Spec & something "special" in the GT1-Open Class too

Default OFNA DM1 Stand Up Shock Tower

Appreciate it guys. I with be throwing some more footage up as I edit it.

As far as standing the shocks up on the DM1.

There has been research done on the damping characteristics of shocks oriented horizontally compared to vertically. When you fill the shock there is always a bubble of air in the shock. It does not affect anything when the shock is oriented up right because the bubble naturally stays to the top of the shock and away from the shock plunger. The lay down configuration however exposes the shock plunger to the air bubble. This in turn makes the shocks damping inconsistant. As the air bubble gets mixed with your shock oil it is the same as using a lighter weight oil. Standing the shocks vertical makes the damping more consistant and eliminates an unwanted variable when tuning in your set up. Guys that drag race the DM1 would not see a huge difference with the standup orientation but if you are racing a curvy track its the way to go.

You can find the standup shock tower at www.maxvelocityracing.com

Question for you Inferno GT2 owners I was looking over a GT2 and noticed the car doesn't have pillow balls. How is the toe in get adjusted on the rear of this car or is it fixed to one setting? Hope this isn't a stupid question.
