Vary, Vary nice body. And I even like your colors. But where are the light brackets?

Thanks, for racing you don't need them, they just pop off when crashing.

The DM-1 is the same length as the GT-1. The new GT-2 bodies are too long for the DM-1

I think the DM-1 spec is the same length as the GT1. The original DM-1 is longer than the GT1 but I'm not sure if it's the same as the GT2. I don't think you can swap bodies between GT2 and DM-1.

It would definitely be nice to see Xray, Losi, Team Associated, GS Racing, and Robitronic enter the fray as well. Nothing like a good variety to make a class more interesting and competitive.

Is there any word on ROAR possibly accepting this class into the mix in the nigh future?

If I had to make a guess on the next company to enter the ring. I would bet on Associated. They like to put their fingers in everyone's pie.

Now THAT would be awesome!!! I love the way the buggy is. I am sure their on-road car will be just as awesome. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Personally, I don't see too many more getting into this market until ROAR decides to make it part of their collective. It is popular in some areas, non-existent in others, uniform racing rules at some venues, wild-ass rules at other venues. Plus, some of those companies already have their fingers in too many pies to begin with so it may not be feasible for them to jump into this market unless they retrench in other areas.

any company that has a good buggy could make the jump - short shocks & towers, road tires and a 2 speed instead of a diff. Its not really much more then that.

It's all about common parts and low parts count......

Associated doesn't have a current 2 speed BUT OFNA developed their own so it's logical that Associated *could* - the question is always how big do they believe the market to potentially be???? And would it be big enough to support another player????

Glad I don't have to make those kinda' decisions!!!!

Ipanema Black Hawk "Body Saver" heavy duty 1" thick foam bumpers are pre-drilled, CNC custom cut to fit Kyosho IGT-2 McLaren & Corvette bodies.

Ipanema Black Hawk custom "Body Saver" foam bumpers are designed to provide the protection needed to win in harsh racing enviroments.

Very well stated. Potentially how many more racers will show up at the track twice a month or more racing GT class cars? To attrace new purchasers/racers the low cost/cheapest components will not keep people purchasing the product.
The next manufacturer in the GT class field will need to have equal or better reliability than the existing players. Right now it would be tough for a third company to commit to a product.

Good looking bumper J.
I assume that bumper will help eliminate the front of the body bounce down the straights?
