Comment to General GT Class rules:

1. I agree that the models DM1 Spec, DM1, IGT1, IGT2 are the same class of cars and should be allowed to race together.
2. Allow any .28 size engine (including the RTR engine) below a certain price, say $200.00. Set a similar limit on .21 egines.
3. I do not recommend limiting users to one particular engine from one manufacturer. There is too much variability is quality (air leaks, bearings etc) and reliability.
4. Sedan body requirement is fine.
5. A pro/high performance class could be established using GTP type bodies.

Curve Tracer, i do agree with you except on the engine thing ... at least OUR reality on my country is that the majority of drivers do race offroad buggy/truggy too, so access to a good .21 engine its kinds easy and they would not agree on buy a $ xxx limited engine, because they already have OS's, RB's, GO's, Team Orions, etc ...

I personally tested here couple of high end buggy .21 "not modded" engines and they are all similar in performance speaking of GT chassis, so thats why i put on my post to allow any .21 "not being 1/8 onroad oriented".

thanks for your comments,

Here is what happened to my second gear at a series race that I attended last weekend. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Thought that I had stripped another gear but that wasn't the case; it just broke. I did change it out and did not have a problem with the gear after that.

Well guys, just came from the 3rd stage of the Chilean GT Class Championship, and beiing my 2nd race on this class im very very happy.

Qualies are 3 x 5 minutes, and A-Main are 15 minutes (something happened today with the other classes so GT being the last one ended being chopped, being originally 25 minutes).

I made the A-Main directly so thats a good start. IPANEMA SINTEC tyres worked flawlesly on a very hot weather, ended using 45/45 on the main.

Here are couple pics, tomorrow will post race report, setup and video !!

We got the time to test GO Engines on .21 5 and 7 ports during the race, fortunately GO 7 ports took the win and i ended 3rd on GO Engine too.

cya and to all of you who helped me with tips and opinions ... THANKS !!!

Guys, im uploading an update of the video with soundtrack

MikaR, THAT layout was pretty fast, but you can make others more technical. This is the track layout :

And this is the layout we will use on the next race April 5th :

And, for example, this is a more technical one, that will be used on November 8th (all the layout are pre-defined by the end of a year for the next year, proposed by drivers) :
