Best buy.
My advise to you, is to go to your local track and see whats out there, there are many different manufactures for 1/10th scale car, but take in mind of parts availabilty for the car you choose.... happy hunting.

Check out my Web site for info on the top 5 cars. Each car is quite capable, but they all have their pros and cons.

a little piece of advise
Mugen great over all very tought. Serpent very light and responsive, fast car, but easy to brake on a crash.Kyosho good over all, Xray I got a friend who has one and is like have the best of all worlds(mugen kyosho and serpent) great over all. Hpi R40 very heavy quite fast and good starting car don't brake so easy on a crash, I started with one R40 and it was like a fast Tank on the track then I learn hoy to drive and move to the MTX-4. As the other guys say do your reaserch and pick the one that adjust to your need of speed!
Every car is good, the performance depend on the chassis settings according to your driving style!

I've seen all the top cars (Mugen, Serpent, Kyosho, TM, XRAY) in action at my local track and other tracks. They all are great cars and can put you on the podium with practice. Like an earlier post, they all have their pros and cons.
I personally own the 720 and I'm very happy with it. As far as durability, it's just a strong as the next car. I've definitely put it through the fragility test...lol.
I suggest you do research and find out parts availability and see what the local guys are running at your track. If needed, they can help with setup.
Good luck on whatever you choose.

Mugen and NT 1 are both good car's....but so is Team Magic G4S and Serpent...so what you can get part's for easy would be my suggestion...
i've see all and they all break in a crash maybe some more than other's but to me they all break...you just gotta drive better so you DON'T crash...i own a G4S but for the next year i'm am getting a Serpent...the car work's EXTREMeLY well out of the box...but this is my opinion....good luck w/choice
