The Blade you want is a JIG saw blade not a hacksaw blade. Your looking for a 24 TPI Bosch or Porter and Cable blade. I would install two of them with the blade teeth opposing one another. This configuration gives an awsome cut. I believe just as good as a hudy. The single blade will leave lines in the tire.

hope this helps

Default Blade

I guess i would remove the old hudy blade and use it as a template to make the new blades correct or does it matter.?.

I have a friend that cut the end off of a Mico tire file, and uses it in place of the cabide cutter. It works freaking awsome.

I would put the blades on and true a fresh tire to around 62mm based on the dial settings. Whatever its off by use a dremmel and grind the back side of the blades until its the correct depth. Now if you have a Hudy truer by all means just replace it with a Hudy blade. I have a Hudy blade but it takes my truer almost 2.5 mm out of calibration on a Ofna truer.

You are wrong the Hudy carbide cutter will last 100 times or even 200 times over the hacksaw blade, at the end the Hudy carbide cutter will be cheaper.

The Hudy Carbide Cutter will outlast $100.00 worth of hacksaw blade, so if you are smart you do the math
