Wearing of Rear Tires

Just a quick question about tires. I am running Front 26mm 40 and Rear 30mm 37. Now my problem is that the front tires last longer than the rear ones about double. The track I run is not fantastic and is tight and small.

Is this normal, or is it my driving style?

keep truing the fronts down to suit or you keep plenty of rears to rotate! usual rule is 2 sets of rears to 1 set of fronts.
to start with true the front down 0.5-2mm depending on gearing and your drive train ratios.
