Default NYSC 1/8 Inferno GT interested in racing

We are interested in knowing how many would be interested in seeing the class run for the NYSC race on SEP. 23..

It is a bit of a last minute shot but we could order the awards for this class but do not want to over extend the current budget on trophies if no one will race the class.

I know that there are a lot of Inferno owners out there so this is your chance many have asked in the past and we need to know so that we can take time to get awards for your class if any of you actually wish to attend and compete.

Personal transponders are a MUST ! !

What are the rules gonna be? Stock motor? Foam or rubber tires?

What the heck I'll throw mine in the car.

DM1's I will check on the stats to see but they seem to me to be on the same level. as for the rules. Most guys are no longer stock so a kinda run what you brung class would make it happen easier with FOAMS of course.

As I said before some guys are smacking in a lot of power with big horses under the hood but that makes it harder so it would make for a good race I think. If I could get one before next week and break it in who knows maybe I will run too LOL.....

We will surely run the class if you guys are willing to race... It was suggested to do so by a racer. Trying to be as accomodating as possible I put it out for replies....

We are trying not to leave any class out. We planned to introduce the class a few weeks ago but no one really showed interest. Now there are a lot of racers that have them, and it looks like a lot of fun. Plus Entry level is not as high as 1/10 and 1/8 on-road...

As a plus for this class since interest is shown here and on our forum we will enter the class and have mock awards to be given away. The perk for accepting the mock award will be that your real award will be not only mailed to you but will have your NAME PERSONALLY engraved as you would like.

This is the only acceptable solution feasible since the race is so close.

SO 1/8 SCALE INFERNO GTP IS ON THE CHARTS FOR NYSC ! ! !

Thanks to all for their input...

IMO for a real class with these cars they should be left stock on rubber... Why start the money wars with this class too...

The problem is that most of the guys are not stock anymore... I am going to listen to you guys that actually run the class to get insight on what will be run.

FOAM or RUBBER ???
That is the question

Make it "run whatcha brung" and see what happens. I've seen a couple guys with Ninja engines and it's just too much horsepower. The cars are all over the place. Let's not get picky and kill the class before it gets started.

Note the 10:00 AM start time people, that means the first qual starts at 10. No reason not to get this started on time.
