budlight,

we race on blacktop in brooklyn, 100% Of guys are running foams. rubber tires last longer but no traction well at least on our track. if the local guys are using rubber tires i suggest that u do the same.

rcnut,

sorry about the post, i will email u

I have had my g4 for about 6 months now its just been too crappy outside to drive it! I have 2 sets of foams, i will use them but if they get chewed up to fash i will just go back to the rubber tires. When i was playing with my car on blacktop and on cement it just spun out really bad. I thought maybe it was my suspension set up. We'll see. I'll try foams next time i run it. I just got some details on where i will race. It is all concrete not blacktop. Does that make a difference?

Thanks,
Mike

it does, but like i said the best thing is to look around and see what everyone else is running. it also matters if the surface is prepped or not

Default TM UPDATE

The G4 Evo will be in the states in the next couple of weeks as well as more Touring bags and of cource K factory parts. The price is pretty good at $299 with all the hop-ups that are inlcuded.

Default G4 EVO

The G4 evo is the new version of the G4 E-Class/(Pro) It is basically the same kit with some hop-ups added to it:

4mm chassis
Front Universals
Hard Coated 2 Speed shaft
Aluminum Hex Hubs
blue aluminum side plates(same as old just colored)
Aluminum steering servo saver
Updated 75cc gas tank
aluminum steering rail mounts
and foams are inlcuded also
No design changes as of yet. it actually is not bad because you are looking at almost $200 in hop-ups and my selling price is only going up $45 from the $255 I usually sell them at.

You should give the people that already have the car the kit for the price that you pay since we have already invested in it once and i was going to need alot of those parts

He doesn't buy just the kits. The cars come called a G4 Evo Kit. Meaning that you get the car and all the hop ups. It's not like you can order just the Evo hop-ups in a kit. It's a good deal. I just hope TM doesn't let us down. Still waiting on the steering fix.

RCNUT

are you sure it comes with 4mm chassis, the info i got was that the chassis had just been altered around the battery slot and fuel tank slot so everything fitted better

IF you do research you will see my prices are already the lowest around. If you know anything about hobby retail you will know a dealer is lucky if he makes $30 gross on a kit. Take away 3% for paypal and look $9.00 now a profit of $21 plus the cost of getting the product shipped to you and supplies and everything else. I do give deals to my customers. I told all my customers that bought the g4 from me got the updated gas tank for my cost. As far as parts whenever someone purchased $100 worth of parts I ship for free. I always ship priority mail even with the kits. Other people charge $15 to ship the kits and send it ground. I ship usually what my cost is, no mark up.

Default g4 evo

I know I heard somewhere that it was going to be a 4mm chassis. I think it was on the tm site somewhere.

Nicko Can you answer this for us?
