Dameetze,

I haven`t taken the piston/liner out yet ( i usually do with all my engine!!!), but did rinse out the engine before starting it. I normally put after run oil in the engine, and then heat the engine up to about 100 Degree C before starting it. WOT at that temp for one tank ( on starter box), then lean it out at track. IMHO, that engine should not be initally cranked over cold coz you`ll wear the piston/ liner out!!

It rained on and off all day on Sunday !! There was about 5 200mm cars. Was gonna to run in my new RB C5 Rody in the 1/8th as well, but never got round to it.

I used the solid axle in the begining but had to go back to diff coz one half of the cup sheared off !!! Boy oh boy " The RR12L5 " is mega powerfull everywhere, RBX12 or even the nsr12s5 would not even touch it. Gained half a lap in the first lap, the second guy was runing a 710 with NSR 5 ( he is my friend, and he does 1/8th as well !!!). Best lap was 16.09 Sec, lap record is 14.75. The one eighth best lap was 15.75. The condition wasn`t suitable for the lap record as the track was still damp, and that with a solid axle it should be even quicker. People were asking what engine is that, as the main distributor in the UK have not got it in stock yet !!

Enough of that "engine", well the car performance was ok ( could not set up properly as the track conditions was changing all the time, did not want to "chase " the track). It was sunny, when the so call meeting finished. The car became a wild beast, it took on 1/8th like no business !!! Man, the car in front is a TM G4 !! Hoping 4 proper racing weather next time...

I am going to buy my outdoor nitro tires for the season. I read earlier that people were using 37 short fronts and 35 shore rears. Has anyone tried these or any other compound. I ran 45/40 on my NTC3 last year.

Default update

My new distributor just got their parts order in. I now have almost ever k factory part in stock. The old 4mm chassis has been replaced with part number K1475. Let me know what you need. www.rcnutshobbies.com. As always spend $100 on parts and free priority shipping in the US.

Default TM CARRY BAG

I was just informed that my distirbutor has the tm bags. I am waiting on a price. Once I have the price they will be on the specials page on my website. I also have access to all the H.A.R.D pipes also.

the 502147 is the correct belt, somewhere along the lines, they changed the numbers but it is the rear belt.
