I just talked to Mike Swauger and he said his problem is that his motors dont have the power and dont make the 5 minutes, in a nutshell.
Rain has stopped but no wind here at the track. There is talk of running the 6th round tomorrow morning but that is still being discussed.

No matter what the out come I am sure this will produce results. Mugen R&D will seek out a solution to rectify run-time. As far as power is concerned I have seen these engines perform well against many at tracks state side what we must realize is this is not the states and the sweeping flowing tracks are going to consume fuel especially if the engines are tuned to make power but not be sacrificed.
I have seen and tested that if I sacrifice temps and go on the lean side I can make more than enough power with ranges like 290-310 but that brings us to the downside that makes the engine high maintenance and unless you have an engine to sacrifice every other run the lean treatment is not going to work in this case. Either way good luck to OUR U.S. GUYS all we can hope for is they figure something out and pull a rabbit out the hat.
All the guys are fast and skilled now it is about the race environment and conquering that...
