Fiberglass brakes

How come noone makes the fiber-brakes for onroad like they do for the offroad buggies? They used to work soo much better in the 8th scale buggies...why not the onroad?

Good question, I asked David Joor about his Indos and he said that his testing proved great for 5 laps and then serious fading.

He believes it could be because the tires never slide like in offroad. Seems to me there is considerably more heat generated in onroad because you don't want your tires to lock up so you tend to be on the brakes for a longer period of time than in offroad where you're really just setting the direction of the car instead of scrubbing speed.

I tried fiberglass, carbon fiber, hybrid brakes using metal and either fiberglass or carbon fiber and none of them worked out due to serious fading.
