It's good to go out of the box. I do like the low friction belts for clean, permanent tracks. The only other items would be for the weight obsessed people like titanium screws, pillow balls, etc.

One piece motor mount, titanium upper screw kit, titanium turnbulkes, boost chamber set and you should be good to go. But right out of the box it is good to go.

Are many of you guys running the new Xytec body? What do you think of them?

How far forward from the bumper are you mounting them?

I have one painted up ready to go, haven't run it yet. I mounted it 10mm in front of the bumper. If you look at pictures of the Worlds, most of the cars had that body on them, good sign.

Like most bodies, it all depends on the track conditions, style of driving, etc. The Xytec body is very aggressive with tons of steering. At the 1/8 Nationals this year, it was three-tenths faster than any other body, but was less stable so your driving had to be very precise.

I would go with the Parma R12...overall a very fast and predictable body. And the Parma is less expensive and more readily available. I'm also bias though...

Simply replace MRX3's 2speed system ( 1st gear one way, 2nd gear housing, 1st & 2nd spur gears, 1st & 2nd pinion gears, etc ), with MRX4 parts.

MRX3 1st gear one way is rare now.

Most people use the measurement from the front bumper to the front of the body, that way when you look at someone's set up sheet, you can compare to your own.
