I run both in conjunction with the short rear arm mod.

Default wheelbase

I noticed on Mikes and Ralphs set up sheet they are running 3mm shorter wheelbase. Are there different arm mounts for this ,I was out most of last season and I am trying to get up to speed before we start racing.

That's the short arm (wheelbase) mod we're discussing. No, you have to cut the arms 3mm short and add spacers. See link:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/3146006-post963.html

Also, you must remove a little material off the top of lower arm where the up-travel set screw would go. This prevents the arm from binding against the bulkhead.

What does that do for the handling of the MRX4X? Does it rotate more or does it lock the car in more. I have not tried it yet but have thought about it.

Raf, ¿Cómo te va? Yes, better rotation. Overall, a more agressive car. Try it bro, you'll never go back.

Oh! I thought the rear dog bones gave more steering and the Universals gave more traction... Maybe someone can clear up the confusion?
