Also does anyone have recommendations on a cheap online store, since none of my local hobby shops carry mugen parts.

Are you running the front lower arms forward (3mm spacer behind arm) and the upper arms back (3mm spacer plus 2mm caster spacer)? That's too much caster. The 3mm spacers need to match on the upper and lower arms...either forward or back. Then adjust with the 2 or 1mm spacers. And I assume you are running 2 degrees of negative camber...it just says 2 degrees. Same with rear.

Try these in order:
lower arms back (3mm spacer in front of the arms)
35 fronts with 37 rears
Add front camber

I've been fighting much the same problem at 301. Here are a few things to try.

1. Move the front shocks to the lowest hole on the tower.

2. Use the X eccentrics.

3. Try going back to the 5mm rear lower arm mounts or even go to the 5.5 (what I am currently running).

4. Red rear springs.

Yeah I am running the front upper arms spaced 2mm forward and the lower fronts spaced 3mm forward.

I've found that the 5.5 will give greater steering. I use to run the 4.5 and the car always pushed no matter what.

Hi there!

Has somebody found a way to disengage the front sway bar on the MRX quickly? When I adjust downstop, I would like to disengage the bar because one arm will not drop completely against its stop. With Serpent cars you can just slide the sway bar to the side. Any tricks here? Same goes for adjusting tweak on the Hudy system. Normally I test first without bars, but with the MRX I have yet to find a way to do this...

Many thanks and regards

Stefan

The wheelbase mod is a hand modification to the rear arms. See post #963 on the MRX4R thread. Link below.

Mugen MRX-4R

There are a few things to add:
1. Most remove a little material from the lower rear arm by the "up screw" holes to preventing binding against bulkhead
2. Works best with the 4.5 blocks (5.0 and 5.5 need too much material removed from them, weakens arm)

I cut my arms to fit 5.5 blocks and it does require a little bit of material to be taken off but they are holding up good so far and I am no wheres near a perfect driver.I think you will be cutting yourself short if you are already running 5 or 5.5 blocks because the 4.5's push the car alot.
