hey guys, what OS engine would be best for performence in the Rs4 3(the SS kit) shaft drive, its for my brother's birthday... or any engine with in a $200 limit

He is talking about a HPI RS4 so for more than 90% chance he is not using a starterbox and getting a starterbox with the engine will go way over his budget.

well for sanctioned racing in 200mm class.... O.S. 12 TZ i would say the top racers at our track use it, one has even gone to worlds.

dont even think of using the .18 cvr that thing will just destroy your diffs as soon as he punches it!! stick with a .12 the JL a great lil motor, i use to run a sirio .12 that was just great loads of top end and always ran cool!!
