What is very interesting, is how the top 10 from round 1 did in the 2nd and 3rd rounds: Examples:

Round 2 - Teemu Leino 17 4:57.091 <- DNF
Round 3 - Teemu Leino 18 5:09.444 <- 1.76 slower

Round 2 - Alessio Mazzeo 18 5:15.167 <- 5.598 slower
Round 3 - Alessio Mazzeo 15 4:19.801 <- DNF

Round 2 - Francesco Tironi 17 5:01.398 <- lap down
Round 3 - Francesco Tironi 17 5:05.519 <- lap down

Round 2 - Martin Hudy 17 5:00.845 <- lap down
Round 3 - Martin Hudy 17 5:09.656 <- lap down

Round 2 - Niki Duina 17 5:00.943 <- lap down
Round 3 - Niki Duina 9 5:17.677 <- 9 laps down ??

Round 2 - Jilles Groskamp 18 5:12.685 <- only .005 seconds slower
Round 3 - Jilles Groskamp 5 3:02.235 <- DNF

We'll see how things go tomorrow.

Im chuffed for 2 things.
There is no Xray dominance and lock out of the top places like they did earlier this year, all brands are there chasing for top spot which just show all cars are capable
The other is Darren Jahnson is in with a good chance for TM

Actually anyone in the top 24 places stand a goood chance of winning the Euros. I say thins because once you get in the final anything can happen. The 20 racers in the Semis now need to fight for the last 6 places and then go for the podium.

Yes others can bump up from the quarters etc too but after participating in two of these Euros I saw how after a couple of bump-ups your car is no longer in its optimum condition, never mind the engine. You can change engines but you can't change your chassis and even then you'll never have enough time to do it before you're having to rush off to the next round of finals.

The top 4 guys have the best chances of course because they get a 10 minute private session and everything is in tip-top condition ready to battle.

I agree with Razzor though that its good to see that despite the giant team of the very best European drivers, XRay did not lock out the top spots. Goes to show that any of the top car makes (Serpent, XRay, TM, Mugen and Kyosho) can perform.

It is just another rocket round heats. Lucky for those who had their runs in earlier in the morning when the track was still cooler.

GO SERPENT !

I'm really disappointed that we can't get live results. At least the Worlds guys were able to pull it off - which made "watching" the finals really enjoyable.

It would be easy enough to create a Live Results Flyaway Kit so that guys running an event would just have to plug into power, plug into the Internet (wired/wireless), hook up whatever timing system they are using and viola! Add a telescoping pole with a camera and we could get video as well. Oh well...

Maybe XRAY would finance such a system - "Live results provided by Team XRAY".

If you know all that, why didnīt you write and propose it to the club in the beginning of the race instead to us who are reading this thread?
Apart from that, it might be an idea to propose this to EFRA and IFMAR, so they can put that demand into the contract with the organizers in the future.

Hi Anders, are you related to Andreas Myrberg, or is this just a common name in Sweden?
