Car spin when braking

Need some advice for the expert. I own a 1/8 on road car. When i push the brake, my car spin. Ask some of my friend, they advice not to brake so hard. I adjust my controller, but the car still spin. Any way to overcome this problem.

Thanks

equal rear droop, equal front shock preload, equal front downstop setting (if you use them), any wheel hub binding, tweaked chassis?

Just some quikee mechanical things.

yes, don't use the brakes.

If you have EPA (End Point Adjustment) on you TX, keep reducing the throw on the brake side of the throttle adjustment, until it stops spinning. If you have the screw on the brake rod you can turn that out some, too.

Most if not ALL 1/8th On-roads have Front One-ways. No Front Brakes + Heavy Braking = Spins.
A perfectly set-up and tweaked Chassis will help reduce the problem, but Cars with Front One-ways are meant to be driven under power through the corners.

1:8 scale cars will have a problem while braking and turning at the same time, though it can be done, it takes practice to do it and not spin your car out.

Now, in a straight line... you should be able to brake as hard as you want. Given the fact you are racing on level and smooth pavement.

You are spinning out because your setup is tweaked. For example; when you apply brakes there is more pressure being exerted on the left side of the car than the right side. This causes and in balance in the suspension, which makes the car spin out. You need to find out where your tweaked or binding at.

The car will spin no matter what surface its on if the rear tires lock up. Too much braking too fast will do it. If you set up a good drag brake system it could help you slow the car more effectively. Its worth a try.
