I am wanting to get back into the street end of racing. I have been doing off road this year and my wife likes the street stuff. I will be comming out there with Griz and I am wondering if anyone will be having any on road cars for sale. Send me a pm and let me know what you got so I can be prepared when I get there. Thanks

Default I like the on-road stuff too

I used to run on-road when I was in Colorado. Had an 1/8 scale and a sedan. Moved to Tx and there was only one series I could run the 1/8 in and the other on-road racing in my area was not to my liking so I sold all my stuff. I really like running the 1/8 scale those cars are unreal. Now about all the on-road I do is on VRC. Or any racing for that matter. But at least half the fun of R/C racing is just going to the events so with the video stuff I still have lots of run with R/C.

I bought the cars about a month before I moved back. Ran the 1:10 one day at the Citidel mall track. You probably don't remember me because I think I only made 2 or 3 laps that day before I had problems. Off-road I went to Denver and ran at Rat Raceway. My first experience with a on-road car was at MHOR. Went up there to practice during the week usually a couple of times a week. And I took the sedan with me once I bought it. The 950R I sold to the guy that owns Rat. I sure miss Colorado. I lived about half a mile from the Citadel mall. So I was there a lot. Finally caught the bug right before I left. Is that program still going strong? I heard you guys had to move to another location. I was disappointed when I got here and found out the only place to run a 1/8 scale was in the southwest series. All out of town races for me so I ended up selling it and going to drag racing for a couple of years. Now I can't stand up long enough to make more than 5 minutes of racing before my legs give out so I started shooting video instead of racing.

I sent an email to Dawn Sanchez a few days ago asking if she could get the list updated. She said she would find out.

Over here more and more Mugen team drivers are quitting the team for one simple reason. Ninja engines!

Nobody is allowed to run anything but Ninja engines in a factory ride (except B.Baker) and those engines just don't cut it.

They stank at the Euros in Lostallo and after that, quite a few drivers decided not to go to Argentina.

I think this situation is affecting 1/10th racer just the same.

These engines are either down on power, or they won't make run time. Both problems are not really encouraging for top level racers.

This is my opinion by observing what is going on over here, so no flaming necessary.
interesting situation to say the least....
