So, did "EDAM" buy the molds of the XR8 kit from "Yusa Model". And now "EDAM" is casting new parts as the Razor? The razor manual.pdf has a header page of the XR8. I did notice that the rear body mount has a new mounting hole. So maybe we should rename the kit to XR8-R

Chris!

It is a fact that the price of Razor is 'different' from the XR8 ? Hope it is not substantial.

Nice. BUT, what is the functionality of the carbon fiber ????? It looks to me that you're still caught up into the cosmatics of the car Max . Let me give you a clue on what to do. Take those carbon fiber pieces and exchange them for weights ( ballast ). You'll have the first 1/8th scale on-road car to incorporate chassis weights for the front and the rear. Now, you'll have another tuning option for your car. Im surprise you didn't do that Max.

Met the EDAM guys on the tracks yesterday. EDAM driver was sparring with one of our local XR8 driver and all I can say is "What a Dog fight!"

I had a badly worn two speed system and the EDAM boss was kind enough to give me one from the RAZOR. Thanks!

At the glance, the Razor looks exactly like the XR8 but closer inspection will tell that there are many areas where the XR8 parts cannot be retro fitted to the Razor. Time to retire the XR8 I guess

Max, when are you coming over? You colleagues are already tearing up the tracks with their EDAM Razor.

Really should redesign the battery tray to accept a 1600 pack instead of the AAA packs. That is something that I disliked on the XR8.

Zac Project ....why don't you show us all how it's done and post your designs huh? Though I agree with just about everything you said, the spirit in which you are doing it leaves a lot to be desired. Here we have someone trying to "Start Something" and you make it sound like some big con!

Kyosho created a "new" car and called it the RRR WCE ...though just about everything fits the previous car ...where were your words of wisdom then? And what about that other favourite of yours ...Mugen, is the MTX4-R REALLY a different car?

Even worse ...what about the XRAY NT1...why are you not dismissive of a car that copies others that came before it almost so precisely?

Jeez ..let max and his crew get on with it. Personally, I'll stick with Mugen but there's no reason why new players should not come onto the market.
