Serpent makes a 1/10 Lola Body!!!!!

wow ... impulse by far is superior to the v one r and the mtx, the mtx gear mesh is a joke... so much for friction free..and the v one r well.... durability..... there is nothing outdated on a snake... instead of scraping the whole car serpent just keeps refining...why do you think it keeps winning???? and the fact that the 235 and 1/8 scale parts fit is a plus in my book talk about durable... with these littlemotors putting out as much power as ther big block .15's i am glad i do not have to worry about drivetrain.......... the car is so nice in the corners, and just as blistering fast down the straights.......

Glad to have you on board Team Serpent ammdrew
You definitely picked a winner. Impulse is great car, and very fast. It's more durable than people give it credit for. Also so popular now. Easy to get parts almost anywhere. Good luck with you're new baby and congratulations on owning a great car.
Happy racing.

Where'd you find that pic of Serpent Lola body? Might have to get one of those.

that car started its exsistense in 2000, this will be her third season of racing, 2nd national event, and so n, do not have to sell me on the car, i have worn out more motors than replaced arms...... only ever broken one suspension arm, and nothings loose, that is racing once a week, very competitivly and sometimes twice, replace the motor every year no matter what...... i also have every option part you could need, not the uslesss ones.... had the shock towers and radio tray last summer( the pro stuff) and cut down a impact oneway to fit two years ago, i do aplaud serp for finaly putting one out though...........current motor is rtu # 602.... dennis make a serius jorsepower motor,,,, highly recommend

ball diff, switching to a fps this year , make it easyier than putting a solid in when the tracks get right......
#86

I probably just did not pay enough attention....I did see the Model inscription though..
..I'm thinking of getting a ball diff myself....let me know how that FPS fairs out .....

i would just get a pro diff, as they can be locked up also, alot of people complain about the weight of the fps, compared to the ball, but remember these cars are putting out comparable horsepower to .15's, i have the same problem .15s have.. i need to run the diff tighter than i would normally like or she slips..... thats why most .15's go right to a pro, much more fine tunable, and if you get on a track like the wet one we had a houston that diff becomes everything, and as soon as traction comes way upp you will be wanting the solid..... so atleast get a pro so you can lock it up, unless you are all caught up on that diet issue... just like the gearing down issue for small tracks.... never lost a hole shot because of my centax... or wished for more out of a corner.... you usually get beat etering and negtiating the corner....

Have you ever been out to Doug's hobby? It's a small track, but alot of very FAST drivers. We should meet up sometime and race. Happy racing.
