Engine wont start

I just got my NTC3 RTR today and i filled the tank with fuel and primed it. and put the glow starter on and tried to start it. The pull start was hard to pull. But once it came out about 1/4 inch it was ok. But i never got the darn thing started. What is wrong.???????????????

try....

loosening up the glowplug a little. Once it gets going you can tighten it again. You did not mention how much turns you did on your carb settings. Make sure the carb is open. If the pullstart is stuck then you probably hydrolocked the motor. Take out the glowplug, close the carb, and invert the car and pull the pullstart. If it spits an excessive amount of fuel then you flooded the engine. Do this until there is no more fuel coming out. Install the glowplug(check if it fires up), open the carb to the recommended settings and prime the carb just enough till the fuel reaches the carb. Fire it up. This should get things started. If it still hard to pull the pullstart loosen up the glowplug a little and try firing it up again. By the way do not over extend the pullstart by pulling it all the way, there is no reason to do this you will just end up breaking the pull starter. Good luck.
