ROAR LEGAL STATUS for FRIZBEE
I just recieved an e-mail this morning from the ROAR Technical Director informing me the #1491 1/8th Frizbee is indeed now a ROAR legal body. It sometimes takes a few days (or a week) for the ROAR webmaster to get the "approved" body list updated on their web site. It should be posted very soon. Thanks for your interest.

Frizbee Aero Fairings?
Theoretically speaking - the cyl. head/ins box fairing should be left closed. IF (and I emphasize if ) the cyl. head is running too hot, a couple of small 1/4" holes could be drilled in the head side of the fairing - but, from what I've been told the odds of that happening are very slim.

I ran mine today. Very good overall handling.
I have the front flaps cut and folded down. The track was loose to start today and I had the wing jacked up to about 10mm till the track came around.
I may make a few small holes behind the head. I was running 270F and had lots of smoke. I think the heat was due to less airflow and not the fuel mixture. I had to loosen the 2 -speed it was running so rich. A few holes will help I think. I thought of taking my cutoff wheel and making a series of slots.

Not yet..... two weeks in Cincy on 9/1-9/2 for the RC Pro Race.
I didn't do the other one till I see how this one works. I will try them back to back and see the difference during practice.
I just used a full size cutoff wheel on my dremel and barely had to open them up a touch more. Clean the edges with a knife when you're done.
